If you’re like me and you don’t want all the crappy software that’s installed with the drivers:
- Install Windows 7.
- Head over to the Acer site and get the following drivers:
-Fingerprint Utility: unknown device usb\vid_138A&PID_0001 in device manager.
-ITECIR Infrared Receiver (called CIR_ITE on the Acer site): unknown device acpi\ITE8708 in device manager.
-VGA Nvidia. I just did the regular setup here as it incoporates the HDMI audio driver, which I need.
-Agere Systems HDA Modem (called Modem LSI on the Acer site) : unknown device HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_11C&DEV_1040 in device manager.
To do: TV card driver.
